Locally owned and operated in Charlottesville, Virginia, Sam's Kitchen serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner including daily specials and delicious desserts seven days a week. We offer home-style cooking made to order and cooked quickly. Our prices are low and our service is fast and friendly. Dine-in, take out and free delivery service is available. We accept all major credit cards and are a member of the Corner Meal plan.

Our extensive breakfast, lunch and dinner, and take out and delivery menus can satisfy the appetite of anyone. Breakfast is always served and can be ordered to go and for delivery. We offer a varied beverage selection of soft drinks, juices, milkshakes, beer, wine, tea, and coffee. Our comfortable dining room is great for the family and can facilitate private parties or special functions.

Sam's Kitchen was originally established in November 1994 on the ground floor of the Howard Johnson on the Corner. When the Red Roof Inn bought the hotel, Sam's Kitchen relocated to Emmet street with the purchase and renovation of the former Hoo's Kitchen. In March 2000, Sam's Kitchen was closed for nearly a year due to an attic fire which destroyed the building's roof and most of its contents. Recently remodeled, Sam's Kitchen reopened in January 2001 with an expanded dining room separated into a non-smoking and smoking section.

Sam's Kitchen is located at 1403 Emmet Street just south of the 250 bypass across from Bodos. We are open seven days a week:
